 Washington State is situated in the Northwest of the United States of America. It truly is a wonderful place with huge mountainous areas and boasts several State Parks where you can do anything from hiking to skiing. One of which is the North Cascade playground where you will find Mount Baker and Glacier. You can stay in one of the quaint cabins or cottages surrounded by the beauty of the forests. Mount Baker is also a ski area. Washington State is full of natural beauty and attracts the tourist who enjoys an outside and activity based holiday. Activities available stem from hand gliding to canoeing to taking a leisurely bike ride. For city adventures Seattle is situated on a harbour on the west coast. It is a beautiful clean city with many bays, harbours and islands to explore. The city itself is not one to be missed as you can while away your day visiting such places as the space needle and finding a nice coffee shop to watch the locals. There is so much to do in Washington State.
